Noisewall Special Event

LIVE AUDIO-VISUAL PERFORMANCE
The Walls Artspace, in collaboration with Liquid Architecture, organised a special closing night party for Ali Bezer’s solo exhibition Noisewall. The event will feature live performances by some of Brisbane’s best Concrète composers ~JOE MUSGROVE~LLOYD BARRETT~ADAM SUSSMAN~CULTURED PEARLS.
Mitochondrial madness and moody metallic mysteries, low-riding earth static and dark techno walls of visual noise accompany Bezer’s large-scale installation. The first hour of this event celebrates Joe Musgrave’s re-interpretation of the textures of Bezer’s visual interpretation of sound back into audible drones.
This live event also features a technicoloured light projection onto Bezer’s Noisewall. The projection is created in real-time, by channelling the soundscapes performed in the gallery into software that translates audio frequencies into colour frequencies. The effect is a visualisation of rhythm and tones that overlap the textural layers in Bezer’s installation to create a rich polyphony of audio-visual noise.
